This is a series of discovery sessions where we'll do a deep dive into your business and map out the specific scope of your project through a well-developed series of meetings, interactions, and questions based on your business. You’ll benefit from our 20+ years of experience building successful websites and our dedication to staying on top of our industry's best practices.
The purpose of discovery is to ensure the project plan will serve your goals, whether it's increasing revenue, donations, email signups, or creating efficiencies to save you time. We want your entire investment in the final project to be well utilized and for you to see a return on your investment.
When we’re done, you’ll receive a written Business Discovery of the goals for your website and a plan for achieving them. You might think of this as hiring an architect to draw up the plans for a building. Once you have those plans and estimates, you can better decide how and when to execute the project.
You own the final Business Discovery at the end of these sessions and reviews. We can then execute the plan for you or not. Our goal is to bring clarity to this decision, but there’s no obligation on your part either way.
We'll start by exploring your business and your website needs. Book your FREE 20-minute business discovery phone call. After the call, we can determine if we're a good fit to work together and if we feel that we can solve real problems.
After our discovery phone call, we can decide to move forward with the full Business Discovery, the process is generally 3 to 5 meetings and roughly the same amount of hours. The result is that we will have a better understanding of what needs to be done and how we can achieve those goals.
Let’s start by looking at the steps that will take your project from start to finish.
Through our process of discovery meetings, we'll gather all the information we need to best understand your business and goals. You’ll be happy and surprised at the information we turn up. You might even have an "a-ha" moment.
Just like a building, a website needs a solid blueprint. Together, we'll determine the best way to organize your website and sketch a rough outline, also known as a wireframe, giving life to your project.
With a solid blueprint in place, it will be your job to collect, organize, edit, and deliver content (i.e., text & images) for each page of the website. Or, if you choose, we can work together to create the content for your site. This is your project, and we want you to have as much input into it as you’d like.
At the same time, we're working on the content; we'll create a comprehensive layout (a wireframe) showing possible design directions.
We'll create the first working version of your website with all the necessary architecture, content, and design elements.
Getting your website "go live" ready will inevitably require several revisions and polishing. Once the website is ready, we'll review the final launch checklist to ensure it has everything you requested or approved.
Your site is now live!
Over the next few weeks, we'll teach you how to manage and edit your new website and help solve any issues you might have. If this is something you prefer not to do or don't have the time for it, ask us about our Monthly Maintenance Program.
